TWO SPECIAL EXHIBITS in 2008
"Reflections of the East-serenity, timelessness,flow..."
Inspired by the dance movements of the Kabuki, Marta Resende's latest collection of oil paintings seek to capture fleeting moments in time. Resende utilizes this cessation of movement to create and highlight an awareness of the moment in each of her paintings that allows for heightened perception & rumination.

Curated by Ulrike Montigel
of Galerie Arabesque
An article on this special exhibit, written by Ulrike Montigel will be published in the show catalogue

AND

"What the Sleeping Stones Dream" Noted contemporary artist, Ken Gill will show his newest stone sculptures. Each of the beautiful pieces contains a poem inscribed in the heart of the stone and a gold or silver leaf symbol of the dream. The stone is reassembled with a translucent layer of glass which allows light to cut through the stone and release the dream symbol.
